The annual Women's Day March happened once again, but this time was different than past marches. Read on to find out how it all shook down.
March 28, 2020 marked the annual Women's Day march where it turns out women actually have concerns and needs and aren't just nagging. This demonstration has gone on for the past couple of years now, and it seems like lawmakers are finally taking notice. During a protest of one of the new legislative bills regarding paid leave, a Florida senator opened a window inside the meeting room and yelled out some harsh words to the rowdy crowd.
"Be QUIET!!" -- Charles Stiles
Women, being how they are, did anything except be quiet. One such woman, Karen Fiberrglasz, grabbed a megaphone from the hands of other protester Rosa Hernandez to speak her mind. On full volume Karin began to explain over Rosa the importance in equal pay between men and women. According to Krrenn, apparently women make only 88 cents or something to the dollar that a man makes, and Rosa tried to chime in and say it's even less for people of color but racism ended with MLK in the 60s so we here at The Almond have no idea what she is talking about. We here at The Almond are here to give you nothing but pure 100% factual truth in any article that we share.
Martin Luther King Jr. gave his famous "I Have a Dream" speech in 1963, ending racism across the United States forever.
The women had more to say, but who could honestly take them seriously in all that pink and those ridiculous signs that they were carrying. Lawmakers in the White House did their traditional pretending to listen to the concerns of the women until they all quietly left. There will be no Equal Pay Act at this time or in any foreseeable future. Now Ladies, let's get back to the kitchen!
